SEMA 2025: Hoonigan Showed Up and Sent It

Hoonigan made its mark at SEMA 2025 with a full-throttle return to form. The Burnyard was packed, the first-ever live Gymkhana car reveal stopped the show, and the OG crew showed up to meet the fans. Add in a lineup of heavy-hitting partner brands and some of the wildest cars on display, and you’ve got one clear takeaway: Hoonigan still knows how to bring energy, authenticity, and tire smoke to the industry’s biggest stage.

SEMA always goes big, but this year Hoonigan matched it beat for beat. The Burnyard was back, hosted by the crew at Burnout Wars, and it delivered. Huge crowds, thick smoke, and 2000-horsepower cars from around the world doing what they do best: turning rubber into vapor.

Nearly the whole OG Hoonigan lineup made appearances. Scotto, Ron, Hert, Suppy, Blake Wilkey, Corey Hosford, Micah Diaz, Gary King Jr., and Zac Mertens were all in the mix, meeting fans and keeping the energy high. It felt like a proper family reunion, loud, fast, and a little chaotic in the best way.

The highlight was the debut of the Subaru Brataroo, the new Gymkhana hero vehicle built for Travis Pastrana and the centerpiece of the upcoming Gymkhana: Aussie Shred film. Scotto introduced the Brataroo to the crowd in its first-ever live public appearance, and it immediately became the focal point of the booth. Subaru’s involvement and Pastrana’s role gave the debut real presence, and fans showed up ready to see the next evolution of the Gymkhana platform. Learn more about the Brataroo.

We also brought out the Scumbug, Hoonigan’s legendary Baja Bug that started as a $2,500 Craigslist find and evolved into a proper desert shredder. It was pure nostalgia for long-time fans and proof that the brand still knows its roots.

The brand lineup this year was stacked and ready to rip. Names like American Force, Rotiform, Fuel, KMC, and Motegi showed off builds that hit every side of the Hoonigan spectrum, from off-road rigs to street machines. The mix reinforced just how deep the culture runs across the industry.
